We wel­come you to the Keep­ing Nature Beau­ti­ful Blog of ADA Cos­met­ics Inter­na­tional GmbH. The blog is sup­posed to be a venue for knowl­edge­able and well-founded dis­cus­sion, but also emo­tional dis­cus­sion as well. We look for­ward to jointly exchang­ing ideas with you and devel­op­ing new ideas in the blog.

This is sup­posed to also be a pleas­ant atmos­phere for all par­tic­i­pants which is char­ac­ter­ized by fair­ness, friend­li­ness, tol­er­ance and respect.

The fol­low­ing rules shall be valid for all users of the blog:

1.  Pre­lim­i­nary Comments

The Keep­ing Nature Beau­ti­ful Blog deals with themes relat­ing to “green” aspects in the hotel indus­try. Themes are addressed which are related to energy sav­ings, cli­mate pro­tec­tion, sus­tain­able man­age­ment, green prod­ucts and sim­i­lar devel­op­ments, knowl­edge and tendencies.

We look for­ward to open and objec­tive dis­cus­sions with you.

2. Par­tic­i­pa­tion in the Blog — Contributions

In our blog, par­tic­i­pants can for­mu­late com­ments to blog arti­cles and write their own arti­cles. If you would like to insert your own arti­cle in the blog, please feel free to con­tact us at redaktion@keepingnaturebeautiful.com .

The require­ment for par­tic­i­pa­tion in the blog is the suc­cess­ful reg­is­tra­tion of the user while pro­vid­ing his name and/or a nick­name and an e-mail address (no free e-mail address) and a suc­cess­fully imple­mented opt-in mail procedure.

Each par­tic­i­pant is respon­si­ble for the arti­cles and/or com­ments he writes (here­after col­lec­tively referred to as: “Contributions”).

After writ­ing a Con­tri­bu­tion, the par­tic­i­pant hereby approves its release by send­ing it to the blog for publication.

3. Contribution-Related Eti­quette

In our blog, real per­sons com­mu­ni­cate about cen­tral themes that are very impor­tant to us. Before this back­drop, we wish to have fair inter­ac­tion, a friendly tone, tol­er­ance and respect for dif­fer­ing opin­ions. Thus, the fol­low­ing basic rules must be adhered to by all par­tic­i­pants when draft­ing arti­cles and comments:

• Each per­sonal opin­ion is very impor­tant to us. How­ever, you should pro­vide sub­stan­ti­a­tion by means of objec­tive and con­struc­tive arguments.
• Make it clear if you are putting forth hypothe­ses. Alle­ga­tions or con­jec­ture should be avoided.
• Cau­tion should be main­tained when using irony and humor. On the Inter­net, things are often taken seri­ously which were meant to be humorous.
• In order for real facial expres­sions and ges­tures to be cor­rectly per­ceived, it is rec­om­mended that you use smi­leys (emoticons).
• Com­ments should always refer to the theme of the rel­e­vant blog arti­cle or the discussion.
• In the inter­est of all read­ers of the blog, exces­sive use of off-topic con­tent should be avoided.
• Con­tent of a com­mer­cial and/or a pro­mo­tional char­ac­ter as well as the place­ment of links for com­mer­cial pur­poses are like­wise not permitted.
• The pri­vate sphere must absolutely be respected. Thus, we request that all par­tic­i­pants refrain from pro­vid­ing con­fi­den­tial details such as, for exam­ple, con­tact addresses in their Contributions.
• Insults are not permitted.
• Ille­gal and uneth­i­cal Con­tri­bu­tions whose con­tent includes porno­graphic, racist, violence-inducing or other unac­cept­able con­tent or which dis­crim­i­nates against other peo­ple e.g. due to their gen­der, age, lan­guage, national/ethnic ori­gin, reli­gion, sex­ual ori­en­ta­tion or belief sys­tem as well as links to cor­re­spond­ing con­tent may not be inserted in the blog

4. Pub­lish­ing and Dele­tion of Contributions

Any Con­tri­bu­tion which has been writ­ten and approved for release by the par­tic­i­pant shall be pub­lished under his name and/or the nick­name which he him­self has selected. Once a Con­tri­bu­tion has been pub­lished, it may not be amended or deleted by the par­tic­i­pant. If you wish to have a Con­tri­bu­tion deleted, please write a short e-mail and send it to redaktion@keepingnaturebeautiful.com .

No Legal Right to Pub­li­ca­tion, Right of Deletion

No par­tic­i­pant shall have a right to have the Con­tri­bu­tion, which he has writ­ten and approved for release, pub­lished in the blog.

The owner of the blog shall have the right to remove any Con­tri­bu­tion from the blog at any time.

In the event of sub­stan­tial vio­la­tions of Contribution-related eti­quette — if, for exam­ple, a par­tic­i­pant dis­crim­i­nates against other peo­ple due to their gen­der, their age, their lan­guage, their national/ethnic ori­gin, their reli­gion, their sex­ual ori­en­ta­tion or their belief sys­tem, — the owner may also can­cel the respec­tive participant’s reg­is­tra­tion and block his future par­tic­i­pa­tion in the blog.

6. Copy­right

The intel­lec­tual prop­erty of third par­ties rep­re­sents a spe­cial con­cern for us. The restric­tions under copy­right law shall be fol­lowed in our blog.

Through the releas­ing of your Con­tri­bu­tion for pub­li­ca­tion, you are hereby grant­ing us a right, which is unre­stricted by ter­ri­tory and time, to use the Con­tri­bu­tion within our blog. Fur­ther­more, you are per­mit­ting us to freely revise the Con­tri­bu­tion in our own fair dis­cre­tion as long as the revi­sion is done for edi­to­r­ial pur­poses (to shorten it, etc.) and the core state­ment of the Con­tri­bu­tion is not changed through such a revi­sion. More­over, you are hereby assign­ing us the right, in whole or in part or in unre­vised or revised form, to pub­lish, repro­duce and oth­er­wise exploit your Con­tri­bu­tion as well as to revise it or have it revised and to sub­se­quently freely use the revi­sions as well as the Con­tri­bu­tion itself and to archive the Con­tri­bu­tion in all known media (par­tic­u­larly in a form which is typ­i­cal for adver­tis­ing pur­poses such as newslet­ters, clas­si­fied adver­tise­ments, brochures, plac­ards, TV, film, radio, cable/broadcast media, CDI, CD-Rom, Inter­net, etc.) and at events, e.g. ADA infor­ma­tional events and trade fairs while mak­ing refer to the blog – e.g. as an excerpt from the blog or while nam­ing the blog as the ori­gin for it.

If you would like to cite some­one ver­ba­tim in your Con­tri­bu­tion, you must make ref­er­ence to the author (by name/link). In cases of doubt, you must ask the author for per­mis­sion to cite him. This shall also be valid for the hold­ers of rights to pho­tos and videos.

Inso­far as you release a Con­tri­bu­tion for pub­li­ca­tion, you are hereby guar­an­tee­ing to us the valid exis­tence and unen­cum­brance of the assigned rights and autho­riza­tions to the text and, where applic­a­ble, to photos/videos as well as their related dis­posal rights. Fur­ther­more, you guar­an­tee that these rights have not been or will not be, in whole or in part, assigned to third par­ties and that you have not or will not grant the usage of such rights to third par­ties. Lastly, you guar­an­tee that, with regards to the cre­ation and the dis­sem­i­na­tion of the Con­tri­bu­tion, no third-party rights, par­tic­u­larly per­sonal rights, copy­rights, ancil­lary copy­rights as well as rights from com­pe­ti­tion law direc­tives have been/will be violated.

Any repro­duc­tion of a Con­tri­bu­tion pub­lished in the blog by third par­ties for any other than pri­vate usage and/or for the dis­sem­i­na­tion of the con­tent and/or its pub­lic dis­clo­sure as well as any revi­sion by third par­ties is per­mit­ted only sub­ject to our prior writ­ten approval.

7. Exclu­sion of Liability

We assume no lia­bil­ity what­so­ever for the cur­rent­ness, cor­rect­ness, com­plete­ness or qual­ity of the Con­tri­bu­tions that have been pro­vided. The blog is par­tic­u­larly not intended for con­sult­ing pur­poses or rec­om­men­da­tions for action. Before each idea, etc. dis­cussed in the blog is imple­mented, it must be respec­tively exam­ined by experts for its con­crete imple­mentabil­ity in the indi­vid­ual case.

Lia­bil­ity claims asserted against us, which make refer to dam­ages of a mate­r­ial or an imma­te­r­ial nature that have been caused through the usage or the non-usage of the pro­vided Con­tri­bu­tions and/or through the usage of flawed or incom­plete Con­tri­bu­tions, shall in prin­ci­ple be excluded inso­far as we have not com­mit­ted inten­tional wrong­do­ing or gross negligence.

8. Data Pro­tec­tion

Inso­far as the oppor­tu­nity exists to pro­vide per­sonal or busi­ness data (e.g., e-mail addresses, names, etc.) within the blog, the dis­clo­sure of these data is made upon exclu­sively a vol­un­tary basis. We shall han­dle the data con­fi­den­tially and not use them in any other man­ner with­out your prior approval to do so. Fur­ther­more, we make ref­er­ence to our Data Pro­tec­tion Direc­tives [LINK].

9. Final Com­ments

The owner of this blog is ADA Cos­met­ics Inter­na­tional GmbH,Germany.

Exclu­sively Ger­man law shall be valid for all legal rela­tion­ships between the users/participants and the owner.
